I saw this photo on instagram a few days before the Show.
Well there was not supposed to be a show as Stefan had a residency instead.
As i said before, I saw this photo before I have seen the object in real life.
I got exited. I was not sure what was it that i saw.
Was it a cocoon? A shelter? A nest?
None of these assumptions felt strong to me.
I think this was an abstract sculpture , that combined different types of wood in it.
It also had building foam in it, i assumed it was holding the smaller pieces of wood .
It looked like sap dripping from a tree.
It was not clear to me at first how was it attached to the wall?
How fragile was it?
I assumed that the object has a frame inside of it that held the entire construction. Making the part at the front something else rather than a detail that was made for supporting his work.
It seemed stable enough,i was not afraid to come near it and try to look inside of it through the gaps .

The work was made in that space and for that space. I liked the way it looked ,due to the different shades of wood that have been put together. Most of the wood in his work was used.
Having something that has been made out of recycled wood or dirty wood, these objects would have not usually be seen in indoors.
