9 pieces per side.

After multiple failed attempts,lost patience,5 broken facets and a lot of opinion of this object, with the help of 3 people I have managed to build it and make it more or less stable.
I mentioned before that i am intending to experiment with sizes , but unfortunately the material that i have is not thick enough to hold the pressure.
One wrong movement and it cracks where the ring is connected.
I also expected it to be taller.
I understand that this object would look completely different once unpacked, it would be transparent like the small object that I made earlier in the year.
I decided to keep all the material ceiled for as long as possible, because i want it to look fresh and cristal clear for the solo show and degree show.
last year when I worked with mirrors i did not bother to cover them up , or store them properly, so by the time the exhibition started they were all scratched, and that was glass.
The studios are really dusty, and if left unpacked the objects would be covered in dust, which means i would have to take them apart in order to wipe them.

My friend and her 4 year old son came to visit me at the studios today and he asked me what it was.
I said that i was not sure. After what he said that he does not know what it is either.
He said that it is definitely not broken, and is fragile, so it;s best not to touch it.
He asked me how i made it and can it be in another color?
